I'm a software engineer with a unique perspective shaped by years of music education and performance.
My path to software engineering is unconventional but deeply formative. With a background in music performance and education, I developed skills in pattern recognition, disciplined practice, and the ability to break down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps, all of which translate powerfully to writing code.
My interest in technology evolved into a passion for software development. I recently completed the Software Engineering bootcamp at Flatiron School, where I expanded my skills in full-stack development, working with modern frameworks, writing clean and maintainable code, and collaborating on real-world projects.
Today, I bring a blend of creativity, analytical thinking, and clear communication to every engineering challenge. Whether I'm building scalable web applications or refining database performance, I approach each problem with the same focus and attention to detail that I once applied to musical performance and instruction.

Developed tailored clarinet and saxophone lesson plans that strengthened tone, breath support, and rhythmic skills, and guided students through successful preparation for the NYSSMA solo festival.
Performed in pit orchestras, doubling on clarinet and saxophone, and frequently subbing for various productions. Additionally, performed across Long Island in symphonic orchestras, big bands, jazz combos, and chamber quartets.
